The Free & Fair Elections Act of 2023

After the 2020 Election, it's abundantly clear that we need major reforms when it comes to our electoral process. Reforms that will not only make it easier to vote and harder to cheat, but that will restore honesty, trust, and transparency in our elections moving forward.

The right to vote in a FREE and FAIR election is a citizen's most basic civil right, the one on which many of the other rights the American People depend on. It's time for the United States Congress and State Legislatures around the country to guarantee that every eligible individual able to vote can do so, and that no vote is stolen, manipulated, or ignored,

The American People deserve an election process they can trust — free from fraud, errors, or mistakes. In our country, every citizen's vote is sacred. Our vote is our voice and that is how we guarantee that our government remains of the people, by the people, and for the people. It's time for Congressional Democrats to understand that verifying the identity of an individual at the polls is not racist or an act of voter suppression, but it fortifies the idea that each and every single vote matters.

As your next Congressman, Antonio Pitocco will fight hard for election integrity because, let's face it: elections have consequences and we are living through that right now.

The Free & Fair Elections Act of 2023, which will be introduced by Antonio Pitocco once he is elected to Congress, will consist of policy initiatives that will not only strengthen our electoral process, but will also secure each and every vote, reinstate transparency in our elections, and criminalize and and all forms of election fraud or subversion.

Policy Points of the Free & Fair Elections Act of 2023:

  • Require all voters in federal elections to present photographic identification.

  • Make Election Day a National Holiday.

  • Require ALL individuals registering to vote to provide documentation establishing U.S. citizenship.

  • Prohibit same-day or automatic voter registration.

  • Prohibit private funding of election officials, offices, and agencies.

  • Require the Department of Homeland Security to provide the Department of Justice with all of the information it has on noncitizens who have registered to vote or have previously voted in elections.

  • Direct the Department of Defense to create voter registration offices on military installations.

  • Disband excuse-free absentee ballots and the use of mass-mailing of unsolicited mail-in ballots.

  • Ban the use of ballot drop boxes.

  • Institute a national ban on ballot harvesting.

States have the right and responsibility to ensure the integrity of their elections and most importantly, to ensure the votes of their citizens are not stolen or diluted by fraud. Despite critics on the left consistently saying that any attempts to enact election integrity laws, there has been zero evidence of voter suppression in any state that has passed strong election integrity measures and it's time to make that a reality across our country.

Our vote is our voice in our government, and without transparency, honesty, and trust in our electoral process, the American People will remain voiceless.
